Turpol offers a 500m beach, just 1 min walk from your room to enjoy the sun and a calm lake to enjoy. You can watch the snowy Hazar Mountain on warm summer days on the beach. Turpol was awarded in the year 1999 a blue flag for cleanliness of its beach and has one of the most appreciated beaches in the region by tourists.

Turpol has an engine powered boat of 3-4 meters up-to 5 people. The boat can be rented at Hotel Reception. A deposit must be paid as well. We advise you to rent the boat only, i all of the attendees have great swimming capabilities.

At Turpol you can watch the mighty Hazar mountain from the balcony of each hotel room. The mountain takes different colors in each season. The peak of Mount Hazar is around 2347 m above the sea level. The ski pistes are 1850 m above the sea level. You can rent ski equipment at facilities nearby the piste. Please make sure that equipment is available and the road to the mountain is open by contacting the authorities in beforehand. The pistes are good for amateurs as well as professionals. 

Turpol has two football fields (60m-120m and 30m-60m), one basketball field, one tennis court and a beach volleyball field. Many prominent Turkish football clubs such as Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş have preferred to stay at Turpol in the past for training purposes. Have the opportunity to train and exercise where greatest football clubs of the world have trained

The mountains surrounding the Hazar Lake offer great opportunity for walks in the nature. The fresh breeze that wakes you up in the morning at Turpol will invite you for a great trip to the Hazar Mountain for a hiking trip. You can reach the summit from May until October without advanced hiking equipment.

There are various fishes in Hazar Lake, such as Tigris scraper(Capoeta Umbla), Tigris spined loach (Cobitis elazigensis) endemic to Hazar Lake, stone loach endemic to Hazar Lake (Oxynoemacheilus hazarensis), Hazar Bleak endemic to Hazar Lake (Alburnus heckeli), Hazar toothcarp endemic to Hazar Lake (Aphanius asquamatus) and common carp (Cyprius carpio). Turpol offers a great beach for fishing and close to rocky places with plenty of fish. We kindly ask you to bring your own fishing equipment or order us a fishing equipment 7 days before your arrival.

It is a great activity, especially for children to wonder about the magnitude of the universe and get curious about how things work. Turpol Resort, situated in the northern Mesopotomia is close to the workplace of the first astronomers of the ancient world.

BBQ is only available for hotel guests on demand. The BBQs are all self service, Turpol only providing the grill, food and the drinks. Please reserve your place 7 days beforehand for great BBQs with family and friends.
